JAMP has provided me with many opportunities and resources, such as MCAT prep, that I wouldn’t have been able to receive elsewhere. The program afforded me the opportunity to participate in programs typically reserved for current medical students and let me fully immerse myself in medicine. I am so grateful to JAMP for all that it offers.

How was JAMP helped you strive to achieve your goal of becoming a doctor?

What advice would you like to offer current or future JAMP students?

Some advice I want to offer to current and future JAMP students is to not be afraid to ask questions and to take chances. Whether it be applications or speaking to faculty, do those things with confidence, professionalism, and without the fear of rejection.

What aspect of JAMP has been most beneficial to you?

The greatest aspect of JAMP is being surrounded by others with similar hardships and backgrounds with the same goals. That has created a supportive community that uplifts everyone involved. Also being able to meet physicians, faculty, and mentors who all share the same passion for helping JAMP students become successful.
